What exactly is permanent makeup?
Permanent makeup, also known as cosmetic tattooing and micropigmentation, is the implantation of pigment into the dermal layer of the skin. The most common procedures are eyebrow enhancement, eyeliner and lip color.

Is it painful?
During a procedure pain is kept to a minimum with the frequent use of topical anesthetics such a Lidocaine. Everyone's pain threshold is different. Some people feel no pain. Others may experience mild discomfort.
Is it safe?
Allergic reactions to pigments used are rare but can occur at any time. A skin test is available upon request.
Disposable, sterile needles and equipment are used for each client. OSHA standards and CDC guidelines are strictly followed.
How long will permanent makeup last?
Although it is referred to as "permanent" color WILL fade over time. The degree of fading is dependent upon a number of factors including sun exposure, adherence to after-care instructions, technician skill, skin type and use of anti-aging products and treatments.
How long will the procedure take and what do I need to know ahead of time?
Procedures take 1-2 hours. Before coming to your appointment it is recommended you go over the instructions in this text file:
NOTE: If you are having a lip procedure and have a history of cold sores or herpes you will need to take anti-viral medication such Zovirax or Valtrex prior to and after your appointment to prevent a breakout. Please consult with your physician and follow his/her recommendations.
